The Central Iowa Alumni Chapter will be hosting a watch party for those that can't make it to Maryville to cheer the 'Cats on in person!

But wait...there's more!

To raise money for our chapter scholarship fund we will be selling t-shirts for $15. The shirts will be gray and will have "Northwest Bearcats" with the paw logo on the chest pocket area and the sleeve will say "Central Iowa Alumni Chapter" also with a paw. The design is simple and will allow for many years of wear! We currently have 50 shirts in both regular and ladies styles on order.

We will have these shirts for sale at the watch party and all proceeds go to our scholarship fund! If you are unable to attend the watch party or are unable to secure a shirt of your size we will be putting in another order and can place yours at that time as well. Email iowabearcats@gmail.com with questions!

Please show your support for your local alumni chapter and for future Bearcats by wearing these shirts with pride!

We're Moving (our socials)!

We are always trying to find the best locations for our socials and events and sometimes that means we have to make a move. After several months at Kelley's in Beaverdale it's become evident that we need to change locations!

The Game Sports Bar in Urbandale has been a great host for our Football watch parties for the last three years AND has a Bearcat as one of the owners!

Beginning in October we'll be having our First Thursday socials at The Game Sports Bar at 6pm on the first Thursday of every month.

Thursdays also happen to be steak night and there will be a variety of drink specials as well! We think this move will be our last as our Central Iowa Bearcats tend to feel at home at The Game.

We hope to see you there!

New Location for First Thursday Socials!

Our attendance at our chapter socials has been growing and to accommodate the growth we've had to relocate! As it turns out, we have a local bar owner with a Northwest connection that's willing to host us! Anything to help out the locally owned businesses, right? We hope to see you there!
